Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, who in the Christian religion, and it is also known as 'The Son Of God'.

Although there are many interpretations, the traditional narrative behind Christmas celebrations is that Jesus' parents, Joseph and Mary, arrived at the city of Bethlehem, but had no lodgings. They were confined to a stable in an inn, which is where Jesus was born. This traditional narrative is known as The Nativity of Jesus.

Christmas is one of the biggest festivals celebrated around the world on 25th of December every year. It is a Christian festival celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. A festival that celebrates the life, sacrifices and teaching of Jesus Christ, Christmas is as much about Santa Claus, lights, decorations, Christmas trees as it is about Jesus Christ.
Christmas is celebrated with equal zest and fervor as in other parts of the world yet has given it its own flavor. Families come together to eat, drink, be merry and argue over Xmas, whereas children look forward to a visit from Santa Claus and his sack of presents.

The Christmas tree is an evergreen trimmed with lights, decorations, and tinsel is derived from a "paradise tree", or the tree in the Garden of Eden. The use of the Christmas tree began early in the 17th century, in Strasbourg, France, spreading from there through Germany and then into northern Europe.
