Nine Avtar of Maa Darga

Day 1: Shailaputri 

Known as the Pratipada, Shailaputri is adored on this day. Goddess Parvati is the girl of Himalaya, the mountain. In Sanskrit, Shail implies the mountain and, in this manner, she is likewise was known as Shailputri. The goddess in this frame rides a bull, conveying a trishul (trident) in her correct hand and lotus in the left hand. 

Day 2: Brahmacharini

Day 3: Chandraghanta

Day 4: Kushmanda

Day 5: Skandamata

Day 6: Katyayini 

Devi Katyayini is revered on Shasthi. Known as the warrior goddess, it is viewed as a standout amongst the most brutal types of Goddess Parvati. The name infers as she was destined to Rishi Katya. In this symbol, the Devi rides a lion and has four hands 

Day 7: Kalaratri 

On Saptami, Devi Kalaratri is revered. Legends go to state she swear off her skin shading and holds onto a dull appearance as dark to slaughter devils Shumbha and Nishumbha. Riding a jackass she has four hands here. 

Day 8: Mahagauri 

Known as Ashtami Mata Mahagauri is revered on this day. Mahagauri implies to a great degree white (maha meaning incredible and gauri significance white. The name gets from the way that Parvati had a reasonable appearance. Here she rides a bull and has four hands. 

Day 9: Siddhidaatri
